Scholastic News Jigsaw Activity...

This group shared their article on "One Leader, Many Jobs".  It was about the job of the president!  

This group talked about the article called, "City Celebration".  Philadelphia became the first U.S. city to be named a World Heritage City.  They played an important role in the world's history and culture.

This group shared the "Super Bowl Champs" chart.  The Super Bowl kicks off on February 7th.  This year will mark the 50th anniversary.  Did you know that the Pittsburgh Steelers have won the most super bowls.   
This group of friends shared the article on "Dogs on Duty".  This group of dogs were working  on Middle Island, Australia and taking care of penguins!!!  The penguin population grew from 4 to over 200 penguins.

This group shared the article called, "Would You Run For President".  Later this year on November 8th, Americans will choose the nation's 45th president.   Three things they shared were that the president had to be at least 35 years old, have lived in the country for at least 14 years, and that you have to be a natural born citizen.  The soonest that this year's third grader could run for president would be 2044!!!
