Grandma Deloras

Grandma Deloras was such an AMAZING helper to us all.  She did such a great job helping us with our stories, writing, and spelling.  She read our whole class a letter that she had written during the last week of school and gave each student a gift bag and a book.  We LOVE her so much...

Our LAST Trip to Valley Home...

Here is Grandma Darlene checking out the new iPad.

This was our LAST trip to Valley Home for this year.  The students made books for the residents on both of their lives.  They were just AWESOME!!!  We also shared our iPads with them, as they were so curious to see how they worked.  It was the BEST time ever.  I hope they learned from their experiences and possibly visit their new friends this summer.  Please encourage them to do that!

Prowler Baseball Captains...

Coach Skjerven and two baseball players came to Challenger for Prowler Pride on Thursday.  Landan Sanders and Turner Storm did a GREAT job talking about the baseball team.  We wished them GOOD LUCK on their tournament later that day!

Bracelet Making Day...

We had a great time making bracelets.  THANKS to all those that made it possible!!

Trip To Bemidji Headwaters Center...

Our third graders went to the Bemidji Science Center last Tuesday.  We had the BEST time there.  We got to hold snakes, bunnies, taranculas, and play many different science related games and had some great experiences.  We ate lunch and had a Raptor Demonstration.  It was soooooo much fun!!!!  THANKS to all the volunteers that went along.

Mrs. Helling was so BRAVE to hold the snake.  I had some encouragement from Coby's mom.  THANKS!!!

As you can see by all the photos, we had an AMAZING time in Bemidji.  The students were just AWESOME and so BRAVE to hold the snakes...
