Waterpark Trip...

Our class went to the waterpark on Thursday, December 19th for our THIRD GRADE Christmas Party.  We had over 150 friends to swim with, slide with, eat lunch with, and go tubing down the Lazy River with.  It was an AMAZING time with our friends.  The students were just perfect!!!  It was the BEST day ever!!!  Check out all of the great pictures below...

We are ready and waiting for our bracelets!  Can't we swim yet?

Just relaxing...

Where are you, Coby?

This was taken at the end of the day!  I think Issac's photo says it all!!!

Winn-Dixie Party...

After reading the book, Because of Winn-Dixie we decided to have our own "Winn-Dixie" party.  Thanks to everyone's help, we were able to serve cheese and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chips, pickles, litmus lozenges, cookies, and of course--our very own dump punch.  As you can see from the photo below, it turned green!  What a great Chrsitmas color!!!  We also had our very own entertainment of guitars and Christmas carols.  THANKS to Noah, Ivar, and Ivar's mom.  They rocked!!!  It was the most AMAZING party yet in third grade!

Valley Home Visit...

This is Jillian and Grandma Darlene.  Aren't they just a beautiful pair!  They had so much fun making a Gingerbread House together.  Grandma is living at Valley Home right now.  She is walking with a walker and is getting much better since having a car accident.  Grandma got at least 26 hugs last Friday!  She was so happy to see us.  We miss you Grandma Darlene.  You are the best!!!  Hope to see you soon!!

This is Kyra and her resident.  They got to work together for the first time today.  They made an AWESOME Gingerbread House together.  I think Kyra got to see her room, too.  It was a great time for them!!  They look so happy!!!

This is Bell and her Great Aunt.  She just moved to Valley Home about a week or so aga.  It was the BEST time for them to work together and talk about their family.  Aren't they just a beautiful pair.  Love their smiles...

Student of the Week...

Kale Geiser is this week's Student of the Week.  Some of his favorite thing are the color purple, Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, pizza, sharks, football, and iPads.  He likes to help others and LOVES his family!  He would like to be an NFL football player when he grows up.  Did you know that he worked at the Minnesota State Fair and made $80, that his dad is a triplet, and he's the oldest cousin on his mom's side of the family!  Thanks for sharing, Kale!

Prowler Pride with Girls Hockey...

Here are a few of the Girls Hockey players that came for Prowler Pride on Friday.  They did an AWESOME job and told us many interesting things about girls hockey, their favoritie things about school at LHS, and other things that they were involved in through school or work.  We asked a lot of GREAT questions.  Thanks, girls!!  GO PROWLERS...

Gingerbread Houses...

We spent some time searching for just the right Gingerbread House on our iPad before we made them.  Here are some pictures of the students busy making these very unique houses.  We also made the same kind of project at Valley Home later that day!  They turned out just AWESOME...
