| Mr. Froiland challenged us with a Pi question for Pi Day! Here we are measuring the cookie and trying to see if we could come up with Pi. We also learned a song about Pi and did a FUN grid activity!!! It was so much fun and it felt good to see and feel the challenge! THANKS to Mr. Froiland for the great math exercise and snack!!! |

| We watched a short program this week in Ms. Heikkila's room. Her fourth grade students wrote songs and played them on the recorder. They were just AWESOME!!! It was so much fun to see some of my favorite "old" students!!! The third graders are so excited to play these next year!!! |

| This is Hallie. She is this week's Student of the Week. She did an AWESOME job on her poster. Some of her favorites are the color purple, chicken alfredo, Ivy and Bean books, softball, reading, and playing with friends. She is a star because she makes others laugh and she loves to play softball! Three things you may not know about Hallie are that she LOVES art, has a dog named Palmer, and used to play baseball, but now will play softball. She doesn't know what she wants to be when she grows up. She has lots of ideas!!! |
