Ms. Kylie worked with her reading group and did a Reader's Theater on Harriet Tubman.  It was just awesome...they LOVED it!!!

Valley Home Visit...

We had an AMAZING time at Valley Home today1  We met some awesome new friends and made a REALLY cool project for them.  We look forward to many more visits throughout the year.  Thanks to those that helped out today!  

A Visit From Miss Minnesota...Brianna Drevlow

She signed autograph pictures when she was done reading today!!

Of course, we all got to try on the crown and the sash!!! Yes, even the boys!!!  We just LOVED having Miss Minnesota visit and eat lunch with us today!  Brianna was an AMAZING role model to us all and made us want to be "true to ourselves" and spread kindness around the world.

Prowler Pride Today...

The Prowler Swim Captains came to Challenger for Prowler Pride today!  They did just an AMAZING job talking to the students about their sport and their lives at LHS.  They are great role models for our third graders!  Maybe our students will go to Tigersharks and see these girls!!!

Student of the Week...

Brooke is this week's Student of the Week.  She has 10 brothers and sisters and a dog named Buddy!  She gets to school by car and sometimes rides the bus home.  Some of her favorites are the color baby blue, dogs, apples, volleyball, the book, Holes, math, and playing with Buddy.  She is a star because she cares for others and is a good helper.  She shows others she cares by being a good friend and giving LOTS of hugs.  Three things you may not know about Brooke are she has visited over 250 National Parks, is the 10th child, and her sister is Miss Minnesota and she is her little princess.  When she grows up, she wants to be a doctor.  Good Work, Brooke!!!  

Prowler Pride at Challenger...
