Student of the Week...

Lynsie is our Student of the Week.  When she grows up, she wants to be a vet!  Some of her favorites are:  the color pink, zebras and lions, her mom's macaroni and cheese, football, art, and playing with friends.  She LOVES to help others in need and likes to give hugs.  Three cool facts about Lynsie are that she has 29 pairs of shoes (YIKES), loves my little ponies, and has a bedroom decorated with Monster High.  She is a great friend to others.  THANKS, Lynsie!!!

NWEA Testing...

Here is Ryder reading a passage and answering the questions!

Braydin is really THINKING about his READING!!!

Sophia and Kennett are working so hard on their reading passages.
They are doing such a GREAT job on iPads!

Number Top-It...

The students learned about place value in math this week and learned how to play the game, "Number Top-It".  They used A LOT of good strategies when placing their numbers.  It was a GREAT partner lesson, too!  Many more games this year in math.  YEAH...

Bus Safety...

We made some AMAZING buses this week!  We put THREE important rules inside of each bus.  They certainly deserve to be on the AWESOME board...what artists!!!

Our Class Pet...

We have a NEW class pet...her name is Lily!  She has been with us for about a week.  Tyler and Mr. Wiggs feed her crickets each week and we keep her container full of fresh grass and water.  She is A LOT of fun to watch.  She ascually came from Mrs. Helling's plant that had been outside on her deck all summer!!!  We hear some croaking coming from her plant again and think that Lily may have another friend in the plant.  We will keep you posted...
Lily loves to hang in the corner of the container.  We hope she is enjoying third grade...

Third Grade Friends...

Here we are...SMILE!!!
We always want to take a silly photo, too...

Grandma Deloras

Grandma Deloras was such an AMAZING helper to us all.  She did such a great job helping us with our stories, writing, and spelling.  She read our whole class a letter that she had written during the last week of school and gave each student a gift bag and a book.  We LOVE her so much...
