Student of the Week...

This week's Student of the Week is Casey.  He gets to school by car and LOVES baseball!  Some of his favorite things are the color blue, dogs and cows, ice cream, Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, baseball, reading, math, playing sports, and paying on his ipad.  He is a star because he is smart and he shows others he cares by being a great friend.  Three things you may not know about Casey are that he has been to 6 or 7 Twins baseball games, that he has visited 5 states, and he plays four sports!  When he grows up, he wants to be an MLB or NBA professional player.  THANKS for the amazing job on your poster, Casey!  You rock!!! 

Our Freedom Quilt...

Our class made a Freedom Quilt to represent the different things that we learned in Black History.  We tried to represent each part in a way that was real to us.  We learned so much and read so many AMAZING books.  

Student of the Week...

This is this week's Student of the Week, Khloe!!  Some of her favorite things are the color pink and teal, horses and cats, pizza, Dork Diaries, dance, math, and playing with Crosby!  She is a star because, "I'm Me!".  She helps others by being a GREAT friend.  Three things you may not know about Khloe are that she LOVES dance, has 2 brothers, and 55 cousins!!!  YIKES...  When she grows up, she wants to be a teacher!!!  Great Job, Khloe!!!

Valley Home Visit...

We had another AMAZING time at Valley Home.  We made special valentines for our friends, along with playing cards and coloring.  Even the residents participated!!!

Our Freedom Box...

We made a Freedom Box in our classroom.  Check out some of the items that the students were willing to part with for just ONE day!!!  Thanks for your support in this project.

Student of the Week...

This week's Student of the Week in Adrienne.  She lives in the country with her parents and siblings.  Some of her favorites are the color teal, dogs, pizza, Diary of Wimpy Kid books,  tennis, reading, and playing outside at home.  She is a star because she is a great friend and she cares about helping others.  Three things you may not know about her are that she rides a motorcycle, her favorite numbers are 8 and 18, and she has a NEW baby cousin.  When she grows up, she wants to be a teacher!  She would be an AMAZING one!!!  

GIrls Hockey Team for Prowler Pride...

The Girls Hockey players came for Prowler Pride to Challenger today!  They did an awesome talking to the students about hockey and life at school.  Ms. R, their coach, came to support them!  GO PROWLERS!!!

Student of the Week...

This week's Student of the Week is Parker!  He gets to school some days by bus and some days by car.  Some of his favorites are the color orange and red, dogs, spaghetti, Bad Guy books, wrestling, gym, math, riding snowcat and four-wheeling.  He is a star because he is himself (yeah) and shows other he cares by helping when needed and comforting when others are sad.  Three things you may NOT know about Parker are that he got 12 stitches in him chin the 5th day of kindergarten, that he has a large collection of toy trucks, and so far in his life, he has traveled to four states by train and plane.  When he grows up, he wants to run the family business with his dad.  Great Job, Parker!!!
