Student of the Week...

Keegan is this week's Student of the Week!  Some of his favorites are the color teal, chickens, pizza Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, hockey gym, math, and having nerf wars.  He is a star because he is nice to others, and he shows others he cares by being respectful.  Three things you may not know about Keegan are that he LOVES hockey, likes fishing, and plays a lot at home.  He isn't sure what he wants to be when he grows up.  GREAT JOB, Keegan!!!  

Prowler Pride...

This week's Prowler Pride was the LHS Math League.  Some of the students, along with Mr. Froiland were at Challenger to tell us about math!  We were really AMAZED and IMPRESSED with them!  We did some math problems with them, too!  I think we even impressed them a bit!!!  It was awesome!

Our Intern, Josie...

We just got our new intern today!  Her name is Josie and she is coming to us from LHS.  We are so excited to have her help!  As you can see, she started right in helping the students with choosing biographies.  She is going to be AMAZING and AWESOME!!!

Student of the Week...

This week's Student of the Week is Jordyne!  She is 9 years old and lives in Thief River Falls and Holt.  Some of her favorites are the color green, cats, pizza, Owl Diaries books, basketball. math, and watching movies.  When she grows up, she wants to work at Digi-Key.  She is a star because she is kind, a nurturer, LOVES little kids, and is very loving.  She shows others she cares by being nice.  Three super-cool facts about Jordyne are that she likes basketball, she loves to sled and be outside, and she is the youngest child in the family!  Thanks for doing an AWESOME job!!!

Prowler Pride at Challenger...

The FFA group from LHS came to Challenger today!  They brought along a rabbit!!!  They talked to us about their program and the many, many things that are involved in FFA.  It was very interesting!  They all had unique ways to be a part of a great organization.  Go Prowlers!!!

Student of the Week...

McKenzie is this week's Student of the Week.  She has 2 sisters and 2 brothers.  When she grows up, she wants to be a teacher!  (YEAH!!)  Some of her favorite things are the color pink, dogs, cats, watermelon, Amelia Bedelia books, dance, math, playing with friends and coloring.  She is a star
because she cares about others and shows others she cares by helping and being kind to them.  Three things that you may not know about McKenzie are that she LOVES to color, she loves her family, and she is also the youngest in her family!  Great Job, McKenzie!!

New Student...

Dominyc joined our classroom this week!  We are sooooo excited to have him in our classroom!!  He is doing an AMAZING job and making new friends!  He is always smiling!  He has his NEW Prowler shirt on today!  Go Dominyc!!!

Scholastic News Jigsaw...

We worked on jigsaw this week in our Scholastic News.  They worked on an article and shared with the rest of the class!  They did a great job!  We plan to do it again next week and add questions to it!

Prowler Pride Today...

Coach Joe brought some of his seniors to Prowler Pride on Friday!  They did an AMAZING job!  They are doing really good in basketball!  GO PROWLERS!!!

Tayton, Will, BLake, and Kelby were in Mrs. Helling's third grade class!  They are now seniors!!!  Wow...Mrs. Helling is so PROUD of them!!
