Student of the Week...

This is Alanna, our Student of the Week.  She has one sister and one brother and did an AMAZING job on her poster.  Some of her favorites are the color white, kittens, spicy chips, Pokemon books, baseball, reading, math, math facts in a flash, and playing with her sister and brother.  She is a start because she likes to care for and protect her friends.  She is also a great dancer.  Three things about her that you may not know is tht she loves to sing, draw, and play piano.  When she grows up, she wants to be a rock star.  Great job, Alanna!!!  You ROCK!!!

LHS Voleyball Girls...

The senior Prowler Volleyball Girls came to see third graders for Prowler Pride last Friday!  They talked to us about their team, games, bus rides, and how important it is to do well in school and ALWAYS do your homework.  We wish them good luck at tournaments!  GO PROWLERS...

Math Facts in a Flash...

Joe was the next third grader to pass all 44 levels in math facts.  He did an AMAZING job!!!

Bowling Champions...

Chris and Kadin were at the Special Olympics Bowling Tournament last week!  They both came back with a 1st and 2nd place ribbon!  We are so PROUD of both of them.  They got to bowl, eat pizza, and see special friends.  Way to go, boys!!!

Our UND student, Bri...

This was Bri's last day at Challenger.  She is a student at UND and doing her 30 hour practicum with us.  She was just an AMAZING person to have in our classroom.  She was such a great help to the students and Mrs. Helling.  We will miss her A LOT!!!

Of course, we had to take a silly photo, too!!!

Student of the Week...

This week's Student of the Week is Gannon.  He has two brothers, Tayton and Gunner.  He loves the color pink, dogs, apples, baseball, Geronimo Stilton books, math, gym, and playing outside.  He shares a dog named Jack with his grandma.  He is a star because he is caring and always wants to help others.  Three things you may not know about Gannon are that he likes to draw, loves to play with friends, and likes to watch tv.  When he grows up, he wants to be a principal.

Valley Home Visit...

We had an AMAZING time at Valley Home!  We made Halloween witches for the residents and were able to visit for a short time.  We just LOVED going there.  Thanks to everyone who helped to make it successful.  It was the BEST time ever!

Special visitor...

Andraya was this week's Student of the Week and was able to bring Pepper, her dog.  Thanks to mom and dad for helping her out with this.  We had a great time petting Pepper. 

Student of the Week...

This week's Student of the Week is Andraya.  She did an AMAZING job on her poster this week.  We saw a lot of pictures on her poster that led to many questions...yeah!  Andraya has one sister, Karena and one dog, Pepper.  Some of her favorites are the colors gold and black, puppies, kittens, macaroni and cheese, Ezra's Gamble,  every sport, going outside, and playing ipad.  She is a star because she is an awesome friend and shows others she cares by always telling the truth.  Three things about her that you may not know are that she can do a back flip and front flip, she is amazing when it comes to technology, and that she is persistent!  Thanks for doing a great job, Andraya!

Student of the Week...

This week's Student of the Week is Micah.  He has 2 sisters, Kinzey and Lily.  He has one dog named Pluto!  Micah likes to help others and thinks 3rd Grade ROCKS...Some of his favorites are the color blue, giraffes, pizza and pop, Curious George books, basketball, eating lunch and recess, and eating junk food at home.  Three things you may not know about Micah are that he is the only boy in his family, he has 2 sisters (one big and one little), and he is good at building things, especially legos and blocks.  When he grows up, he wants to be a builder.  Thanks for doing a great job, Micah!!

Getting ready for Valley Home...

Mrs. Benson was here on Friday to get us prepared for our project at Valley Home.  We are going to make witches for the residents next Wednesday.  Let us know if you want to volunteer!!!  It will be a great time. 

LHS Band...

We had Prowler Pride with some of the LHS band students on Friday.  They talked to us about the different kinds of instruments and the different bands that they are in...papband being their VERY favorite. 

They ended their presentation with the LHS school song.  It was AMAZING!!!

Bucket Fillers...

Gannon was a Friday "Blue Ticket" winner for great behavior at Challenger.  GREAT JOB< GANNON!!! 

Rylan was our FIRST Math Facts in a Flash finisher in this year's class.  He finished 44 levels in about 4 weeks time.  He is already to go again at a faster pace.  GREAT JOB, RYLAN!!!

Challenger Book Fair...

THANKS for the awesome books from the Challenger Book Fair.  We are so grateful to get some REALLY great reads.  We have some "new" series books, along with some great read alouds.  We are so thankful to MaryFran and all the parents!!!
