Santa Claus in the Challenger Cafe...

Fun Weekend...

Jace and Otto spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  Of course, they had to wear their puppy pjs!

On Saturday, we went sledding down the hill at our house.  I don't know who had more fun??

Prowler Girls Basketball...

Coach Loe and some of his senior players were at Challenger today to talk about Prowler Pride.  They did a GREAT job!

We enjoyed hearing from the players!  GO PROWLERS...

Ms. Heikkila...

Ms. Heikkila is our next music teacher.  We will learn A LOT about rhythm and notes!!!

SURPRISE...

We have a new friend in our classroom.  It is an Elf on the Shelf.  We hope that he adds some Christmas laughter and kindness to our classroom.  We will send you some pictures throughout these next few weeks!  As you can see, he left us some chocolate and has homework to do tonight!!!

Student of the Week...

This week's Student of the Week is Treston.  He has one sister and one brother.  His last day at Challenger is going to be December 23rd.  Over the Christmas break, he and his family will be moving to Alexandria.  Treston's new clas will be so lucky to have him!!!  We will miss him A LOT!!!  Some of his favorite things are the color red, snakes, spagetti, Ninjago books, hockey, math, playing, and watching tv.  He is a star because he likes to help others and is good at hockey.  Three things you may not know about him are that he is moving to Alexandria and will live by 7 cousins, loves the LA Kings Hockey team, and likes Venom the Villian.  When he grows up, he wants to be a Concessions worker and an Engineer.  We will miss you, Treston and hope to write to you at your new school.  You had an AWESOME poster.

Scholastic News Jigsaw Activity...

This group reported on Hooping It Up...we learned about the history of American Indian Tribes.

This group read an article about recovering after a storm.  It was a current event article that took place in South Carolina.

This group taught us about the sounds that a giraffe makes...hum!

This group helped us to understand the numbers on  Thanksgiving graph.  The top cranberry state was Wisconsin.

This group helped us to learn about animal talk.  They even make the sounds of the animals.
