Student of the Week...

This is Morgan Bolduc.  She is our "Student of the Week".  She loves the colors pink and purple, art projects, monkeys, and skating.  She is a star because she helps people and wants to be a hairdresser when she grows up.  She has a GREAT smile that makes you want to be her friend!

Morgan brought her dog for share time today!  It was a wonderful guest and let everyone pet her, over and over again.  She had on her little vest and seemed to REALLY like our classroom!!!  Some thought she should stay all day!!!

As you can tell, the students just LOVE having a pet in school!!!

Rotary Club Dictionaries...

These members of Rotary Club shared information with us on Friday about their club and why they wanted to give all third graders their VERY own dictionaries.  They also worked with us on a few areas and got us SUPER interested in them!!!  Jaden was so glad that his mom was part of the Rotary Club.  THANKS!!!

Ivar is looking at the dictionary for the first time!

Carli, Coby, and Alecia were busy looking up words in their very own dictionaries and found so many neat things.  They could study the planets, learn sign language, found maps of the United States and other countries, and saw the longest word in the dictionary-1909 letters!!!!!

Student Reference Book Activity...

Every Friday the students will work in popsicle stick pairs on Student Reference Book Math Activities.  They have about 10 questions to answer by following different resource areas from the reference books.  They did an AWESOME job for the first time.  YEAH......Third Graders Rock!!!
