The rabbits came for a visit...
The rabbits came for a visit to our classroom last Friday. Coby and Cooper brought both rabbits to share with us. They were a bit shy (I wonder why?), but they made it through. Coby talked to us about how to care for them, feed them, and how they go to the TRF fair each summer. It was AWESOME!!!
P.S. They aet cheese balls for a treat!!!

Student of the Week...
LHS Track Team...
The LHS Boys and Girls Track Team came to Challenger for Prowler Pride on Friday. Their coach is Mrs. Johnson, one of the third grade teachers. They did an AWESOME job talking about the sport and the many events that they are in. They also talked to us about how important it is to do a good job in school and work hard at anything you do. Some of them are going to graduate in 2 weeks and go off to college. Thanks for doing a GREAT job. GO PROWLERS..

Our Trip To The Farm...
We had an AMAZING time at the Melbye Farm. ADawn and Blake did an AWESOME job of sharing their animals and farm with us. We were surprised by FFA students that were the "experts" in the different stations that we went to. We saw pigs, held lambs, watched chickens lay eggs, sit on saddles, brush the horses, pet the very friendly dogs, and explore different things in nature along a really cool trail. At the very end, we go to make smores by a fire. It was the BEST time ever!!! We made GREAT lasting memories. Some of had never been on a farm, held a lamb, or even made smores...THANKS to Blake and his mom for making this happen. They have such a nice place. Enjoy some of the pictures below...
Here is our class posing for a photo in the barn...Kendal and Abrianna are holding the lambs!!! |
THANKS for inviting us to your farm, Blake. It was just AMAZING... |
